The title references the lens within which I see the world . Being of Maori and English descent (as were the founding peoples of modern Aotearoa) my art becomes a symbol of acceptance, unity and belonging.
Tu Be is a reference to both a quote in Hamlet and the Maori word for stand up. Together they spell Tube which is exemplified by the London Underground with Maori place names.
